At Columbine High School, we will educate and help all students develop life skills by:

Providing a comprehensive and rigorous curriculum that meets the needs and stimulates the interest of all students, and preparing all students to become resourceful and productive citizens who display respect, integrity, accountability, responsibility and compassion

 

About our School and Community

Columbine High School opened in 1973 as part of the Jefferson County School District, the largest school district in Colorado. Located near the base of the Rockies, the area provides open space and outdoor recreation in addition to varied metropolitan opportunities.  The Columbine attendance area has a population of approximately 50,000 citizens, consisting mainly of professionals.

  • Grades nine through twelve
  • 1680 students enrolled
  • 375 students in the 13-14 senior class
  • 84 faculty members
  • Four assistant principals and five guidance counselors provide students with support services
