The CHS Technical Education Program was able to replace ageing equipment thanks to a grant from CHSAF
Chelsea Cassinis, the Columbine Woods and Technical Education teacher, needed to replace ageing equipment in the woodshop:
"The grant money allowed us to replace one of the most-used pieces of equipment in the shop! Here is a picture of a student using the Spindle sander to get in hard-to-reach areas of their bandsaw box."
"The vacuum has also been a great addition to the woodshop, allowing us to move it around the room and clean up machines that produce a lot of sawdust and shavings, like our CNC router, as shown in this picture."
"Thank you so much for the grant money, it was well spent and will benefit hundreds of students for many years to come!"
